Super Adventure Box

Love or hate the Box but it delivered some fairly unique mechanics into the game (e.g. no fall damage), mechanics that people can play around with to get to awesome places:

 Glitch City
This reminded me of Sunshine City from Pokemon Red/Green, which you could reach by glitching the safari zone. Sadly the way to get there was patched out of the game as it involved the geysers going up and down. Although the video footage I have is a little old it still shows off stuff we havent seen in the SAB yet. For example underwater visuals.

18:15 Super Underwater visuals and mechanics (no mechanics...) in bonus stage??

Gendarran Fields

The first thing that should come to your mind when thinking about this zone and breaking out of maps is: Vigil HQ. Yes, I went there.

 Vigil HQ
Once you see it from the entrance area, all you can think about is the cranes at the top that are taunting you that you cant reach em. Well now you can show them! It is possible to explore the area around the top of the Vigil HQ and the personal instance area that is also in the normal map. Imo it would be a great place for RP/Guildmeets/Events and theres even a way to easily access it once your inside.

 Straw Pond
Not as exciting as the Vigil HQ or as it used to be before the "Not so secret JP" was enabled, you could get to this place that is very close to this JP and see some wonderous things. Now all thats really exciting about it, is wondering why theres a chunk of Straw in that area and the journey over the 'Stonebore Vaults'.

Update: Wooden Potatoes showed off a way to get below Gendarren Fields, which makes it easier to get anywhere, so you might want to check his video.

If you have additional places you think deserve to be here, feel free to let me know and I might add them.

Festivity - Halloween

2013:
The Halloween festivities opened up the path to the Mad King's Labyrinth. New maps result in new opportunities to find stuff. Sadly most of the ways to get outside the normal map have been fixed since last year. No way to get below the Clock Tower Jumping Puzzle anymore and most ways outside the Labyrinth have been fixed. However theres still a place where you can go explore ontop of the walls of the Labyrinth which enables you to see a little more then your supposed to.

 Mad King's Castle
A floating castle that lies outside of the map similiar to the wizards tower in Kessex Hills (which is also behind the map borders). Imo this castle is good screenshot material. You can use the same spot to go exploring around the labyrinth for a while using the experimental rifle for long jumps. Sadly you cant get to the middle section of the map as its walled off completely by an invisible wall.

Honorable Mention: Treasure Hunter (Lunatic Inquisition)
Although there is no use of unintended features in obtaining the rifle in this mini game and it isn't that secret anymore, it still deserves an honorable mention. By smashing an alarmwall with a hammer you can gain access to boulders. Throwing a boulder against any of the hanging pumpkins in the map will reward you with a pumpkin then. Taking this Pumpkin to a courtier teleporter and using the 'Pumpkin Smash' ability will upgrade your pumpkin to a Jack-o-lantern. Last but not least you have to turn in this Jack-o-Lantern at the Mad King in the middle of the map and he will hand you a Rifle with 2 bullets. Each shot will take about 95% of the hitpoints of a coutier. I suggest you use the number 1 abilitys shot first so you can use Rifle Butt and still have the number 2 shot left. Picking up a environmental weapon wont discard your rifle, you will have it after you use or drop the weapon you picked up.

This covers everything i experienced this years halloween, if you know more then me feel free to let me know and I might add it here, providing halloween is still around.

Dungeon - Sorrow's Embrace

This dungeon and its current development is mainly what inspired me to make this guide. The reason for that is that they blocked off a path you could earlier use to enter a Jumping Puzzle each dungeon was supposed to have in early stages of development. These JP's were later cut, but some where finished and remained in the game (I think everyone knows the easily accessable in Ascalon Catacombs).

I tried for several hours to find a different path to reach it or glitch through the floor so I could still show you video footage, sadly I wasnt able to get there. The reason the path was blocked off is probably to nerf speedrunning the dungeon abusing that path to skip 2 trash groups. Collateral damage in the fun department...

Anyways, I had no old footage of this puzzle so I have to use third party footage here. I dont know if a video exists but i could dig up these Screenshots from reddit user /u/TerminalMontage.

Link to this album.

Update: Tube Room
While I was searching for the alternate path to the JP I found this at least, so have a look if you want to see something weird anyways.

I hope I can finish most of this before the next cool thing gets patched out of the game.
If you happen to know a way to reach this anyway or you know another special thing about SE, feel free to let me know and I can add it here.

Iron Marches

This map deserves its name. Alot of the cool places in this map are on the opposite side of where you can glitch under the map, so youll be marching a lot...

 The Lonely Dog
A mob spawn that spawns in an area you cant normaly reach. He probably was slain under 100 times total. Very unique.

 Dewclaw Village
This village has been built ontop of a human village? or has it? You can see old placeholder assets used in the dynamic event that were not removed but only moved under the surface. They even still change depending on the dynamic event.

  Herdsman's Bastion
Im mentioning this because it seems very large when you normaly encounter this area. I wanted to check it out further and i have to say it could be a scene for some nice screenshots. You can also kill some ravens that you wouldnt normaly be able to reach, but who would be so cruel?

There is some more notable places like the top of the Fire Elemental DE-chain or the Huge Vista waterfall, but after visiting them I decided they werent too fun to check out.
If you have more places you think deserve to be on this list, feel free to tell me about it.

Dungeon - Caudecus's Manor

Not much going on in this dungeon, but there is the face room. Although well known it is a pretty strange place, so it had to be recorded here should they ever patch it out. (They sadly patched out being able to reach the secret jumping Puzzle in SE, but that is another story.)

 Face Room
Featuring a guest appearence of the ceiling cat.

You know other interesting places in the manor? Let me know and I might add them here.

Black Citadel

One of my favourite zones in the whole game. It has a very nice ambiente. Luckily we can go beneath the city as easy as in the grove. This enables us to take a look at some nice places. I did a compilation of interesting vista's for this one.

Ontop of the Black Citadel - 1:40
I think everyone who looked at it from below, thought that hed like to view the city from up there for once.
Well, its possible to do so.

 Haunted Nolani - 4:00
You could investigate the Haunted Nolani before the Halloween event 2013, but the crypt you can enter now wasnt there. Its fun to watch the charr fight the ghosts up close though. If you want you can even get up to the cannons that are shooting invisible walls.

 High Tower - 6:42
The High Tower is next to the Hero's Canton which you can enter as well without being in the personal instance. I often see RPers hanging out rping charr warbands in there. The Tower is one of my favourite places because you can overlook the crafting district, which is exploding from atmosphere.

 Walled off Refuge - 9:22
This area can usually only be visited in a personal story quest, so most characters might never see it, which is a shame given how beatiful it is. I will leave this Screenshot here for you to use as Background if you want. :)

You feel i missed an important place? Tell me and I might add it.
